I hope everyone had an awesome New Year's Eve. I did, and I am already looking forward to all the surprises, ups, downs, and laughter this new year will hold. I don't know about you guys, but I make resolutions every year and almost every year I give up on them -- but this year was a little different for me. I am thrilled to announce that on Monday night, the 27th of December, two+ years of on-again off-again work finally culminated in the completed first draft of my very first book, which is presently titled Fables of the Green. For all of you who have always wanted to know admin's secrets, this book might be just what you've been waiting for. I still have a lot of time to put in working on edits, getting it copy edited, and querying agents before I get even close to publishing it, but to have the draft finally done after all this time is incredibly exciting for me.
The one year anniversary of Five Secrets is coming up later this month, and I can't believe how quickly it's gone by! This year spent witnessing and pondering the complexity and beauty and sadness that is our existence makes me feel very blessed. A big part of me wondered when I started this if I would still be doing it in a month, let alone a year.
It's been nice to see the volume of secrets coming in go up so much lately -- you guys are definitely keeping me busy! As most of you know, Five Secrets is a one-woman show and takes a lot of time and dedicated effort. If you like Five Secrets, please send in a donation today.
